Rev. Paul Sheller, OSB

Director of Spiritual Formation, Conception Seminary College

Fr. Paul Sheller, O.S.B., serves as the Abbey Vocation Director and Chaplain at Conception Seminary College. He is expert in a wide range of spiritual formation to minster to his fellow monks, including guidance in personal prayer and lectop divina. He fosters the growth of Roman Catholic men, particularly ages 18-35, who desire prayer and community life, an appreciation for the Psalms and Sacred Scriptures, and silence and simplicity of life. His call is “We seek men with integrity, intelligence, and initiative.”  

Fr. Sheller was born in Elyria, Ohio. He professed his Benedictine vows in 2006 and was ordained to the priesthood in 2013. He has served in a variety of capacities including Director of Admissions, Vocation Director, Editor of Tower Topics, Master of Ceremonies, and Subprior. His specific education includes earning his Bachelor of Arts from Conception Seminary College (2005); M.A. Systematic Theology, St. Vincent Seminary (2013); M.Div., St. Vincent Seminary (2013); M.A. Christian Spirituality, Creighton University (2020).  His range of hobbies include sports (cycling), photography, and stained glass.
